Denmead Brass

Denmead Brass are a traditional brass band, based in the Hampshire village of Denmead. The band has strong community links, and regularly supports local charities across Hampshire in fund raising events.

Performances in the region include: the Winchester Real Ale Festival; the unveiling of the restored Titanic Memorial in Southampton; the Alresford Show; Rogate village fete; a stage production of “Brassed Off”; Last Night of the Proms at the Waterlooville Music Festival .

Between 2009 to 2012, the band has achieved regular 1st Places at the Southern Counties Area Band Associations Entertainment, Solo, Quartet and Ensemble contests. In the last 4 years the band have also achieved 3 top 5 placing in their section of the South West regional finals of the National Brass Band championships.
